Surprising the global textile industry Heimtextil once again came to an end last week. Heimtextil, the most amazing and appreciated textile event was settled to displays the latest technological updates from textile sector in settled down this year at Messe Frankfurt, Germany. The event opened up at 9th of January, 2018 and ended up at the 12th January announcing it next session in 2019.
“With 2,975 exhibitors from 64 countries (2017: 2,949)*, Heimtextil is on a growth course for the eighth consecutive year and is continuing its remarkable success story in a challenging market. Over the next few days, we will be experiencing a globally unique design show with a variety of product innovations and textile inspirations by international market leaders” says Detlef Braun, CEO of Messe Frankfurt.
According to the official sources, about 2,975 exhibitors and around 70,000 trade visitors from across the world were won over by Heimtextil. A large number of Pakistani companies also participated at the Heimtextil 2018, among which the Gohar textile was a prominent name.
Gohar textile, being one of the leading women apparel collection store and the most amazingly admired company for high-quality bedding collection was present at the event, presenting a positive image of the country and displaying their products to the entire world.
Led by Mr Shahid- Head of the design department, the team of Gohar textile present at Heimtextil 2018 included; Mr Zubair Hameed, the General manager marketing; Mr Anjum Munir- Manager marketing; Mr Waqas Ashraf Baja-manager marketing and Mr Muhammad Akhtar the Manager designing and engraving. The team met guest visitors at the event discussing and presenting the production samples and exploring a new business opportunity with global leaders.
According to the representatives, a large number of visitors visited the booth of Gohar textile and appreciated the products displayed. The also appreciated the quality of fabric and the showed their interest in formulating business deals keeping mutual benefits in mind.
According to the CEO of Gohar textile, the textile sector of Pakistan has a huge potential to compete the leaders in the global market but necessary is to take measurements at higher managerial and governmental level to provide an easy way to the customers from global market to make business deals with the Pakistani companies. He also said that projects like CPEC will open doors for new opportunities for Pakistani textile sector.
